Kudanil Explorer
The Kudanil Explorer redefines expedition cruising in Raja Ampat with expansive living spaces, full adventure support, and a refined balance of strength and comfort. Built for remote exploration, this vessel delivers seamless access to Indonesia’s most untouched waters.
Vessel Design & Performance
The Kudanil Explorer is a 50-meter steel-hulled expedition vessel engineered for long-range navigation across Indonesia’s most isolated waters. With a beam of 12.5 meters and a 1000 GT displacement, the ship maintains exceptional stability even in open ocean conditions. Twin 1500 hp Yanmar main engines provide reliable propulsion, supported by Yanmar and Caterpillar generators for consistent onboard power. A 350 hp bow thruster ensures precise handling in tight anchorages and narrow island channels—critical for navigating Raja Ampat’s complex waterways. Every mechanical and structural choice reflects a commitment to safety, endurance, and guest comfort during extended liveaboard journeys.
Cabins, Facilities & Onboard Life
Eight spacious staterooms on the upper deck accommodate up to 16 guests, each offering 30.5 sqm of interior and outdoor space. Inside, the 15 sqm bedroom features a convertible double or twin bed setup, while the 4.5 sqm en-suite bathroom includes premium fittings and rainfall shower. Step onto the 11 sqm private balcony to find a daybed, lounge chairs, and a coffee table—ideal for morning coffee or sunset reflections. The main deck hosts a Java-themed spa, indoor restaurant and bar, library lounge, and a dedicated cinema room for evening entertainment. Up top, the sky lounge and al fresco dining area invite social connection under the stars, while Monkey Island—the vessel’s crow’s nest—features a Jacuzzi and open-air daybeds for panoramic relaxation. Complimentary Starlink WiFi ensures reliable connectivity throughout the journey.
Adventure Support & Ideal Guests
Kudanil Explorer is built for travelers who want deep engagement with Raja Ampat’s marine and cultural landscapes. The boat carries a full suite of water toys: tenders (including a 26ft RIB with 2x220HP, 20ft LCT with 2x115HP, and 13ft RIB with 60HP), jet skis, e-foils, wakeboards, surfing gear, glass-bottom and sea kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and complete dive equipment. For active guests, onboard gym gear includes cardio machines and Pilates mats. Specialized experiences like yoga, freediving, spearfishing, and guided surfing are available upon request, as are expert-led expeditions with anthropologists, ornithologists, or historians. This boat suits small groups, families, or couples seeking privacy, space, and high-level logistical support in one of the world’s most biodiverse regions—without sacrificing comfort or style.
