Alila Purnama Liveaboard
Alila Purnama is a 46-meter phinisi built in the Bugis seafaring tradition of South Sulawesi, now running VVIP charters in Raja Ampat and the wider Indonesian archipelago. The boat sleeps 10 guests across 5 cabins, including a master suite with private balcony and ensuite bathroom, and is geared toward diving-led private itineraries.
Hull and Cabin Layout
At 46 meters length, Alila Purnama is one of the larger phinisi on the Indonesian charter market. The 5-cabin configuration keeps the guest count low at 10, which translates to generous per-guest deck space and quiet onboard atmosphere.
The Master Suite carries a private balcony, ensuite bathroom, and full ocean view. The four Standard Cabins are sized for couples or twin-share use. This density ratio suits private groups, photography charters, and diving-led expeditions rather than high-volume open trips.
Diving and Water Activities
Alila Purnama operates a fully licensed PADI dive center on board, with courses available from beginner Open Water Diver through advanced specialties including Night Diving and Underwater Naturalist. This is the core draw for guests booking Raja Ampat, where dive sites like Cape Kri, Misool, and Wayag form the primary itinerary.
Surface activities cover snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, sea kayaking, and village visits. Spa service is available onboard or on a secluded beach via a professional therapist running Alila's signature massage menu.
Dining, Lounge and Connectivity
Dining is organized around an air-conditioned indoor dining room and an outdoor deck for al fresco meals. The menu is all-inclusive and built on fresh, locally inspired Indonesian cuisine plated for charter standards.
Indoor spaces include a library, a lounge, and a bar. Complimentary WiFi is available across the boat, and the deck layout supports beachside barbecues, stargazing evenings, and daytime yoga sessions on oversized outdoor daybeds.
Typical Itinerary Region
Standard Alila Purnama routings focus on Raja Ampat destinations including Dafalen, Timbul Sand, Sauwandarek, Harfat, Wayag Island, and Piaynemo. The boat also runs repositioning charters to other Indonesian cruising grounds. Trip length is typically 7 to 10 nights, with day-by-day plans tuned to tide, dive conditions, and guest diving certifications.
