Design Heritage and Onboard Layout

Mischief was modelled on traditional Phinisi trading boats, the same vessel class that once moved goods across the Indonesian archipelago. The modern build preserves the hull profile and timber character while adding private cabins, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and a walk-in wardrobe in the master room. Deck lounges were crafted by local artisans, and both levels have wrap-around walkways that let guests move between social zones without crowding the crew's working spaces. The forward-facing settees become prime spots during sunset and sunrise transits between dive sites.

Cabin Configuration for 6 Guests

The cabin plan covers a Master Room, a Suite Room, and a Suite Twin Room. The Master Room takes the premium position with a double bed and private bathroom. The Suite Room suits couples, while the Suite Twin Room takes two single beds and fits friends travelling together or a parent and older child. Total capacity stays at 6, which keeps the boat quiet and the service ratio high. Because Mischief is chartered as a single group (no cabin-by-cabin sales), the entire vessel is yours: the schedule, meal preferences, and anchor choices flex to one party rather than a mixed passenger list.

What the Charter Includes

Mischief rates start from USD 8,000 per night for the full boat. Included: airport service from Komodo Airport to Labuan Bajo harbour, hotel-to-harbour transfers, fully air-conditioned private rooms with en-suite hot showers, walk-in wardrobes, bathroom amenities, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, snorkelling gear, diving equipment, surfboards, stand-up paddleboards, canoes, linen and towels, and Komodo National Park entrance fees. A beach BBQ is included on bookings of 3 nights or more. Excluded: flight tickets, accommodation before and after the trip, alcoholic drinks, personal expenses, and crew gratuity (recommended at around 10 percent of trip price).

Standard 3D2N Komodo Itinerary

The typical 3-day, 2-night route starts with a 09:00 hotel or airport pickup in Labuan Bajo. Day one covers Kelor Island (trekking and photo session), Manjarite (snorkelling), and Kalong Island for the flying-fox sunset with dinner on board. Day two is the headline day: a pre-dawn Padar Island trek, Pink Beach swimming, Komodo Island ranger trek to see the dragons, a Manta Point snorkel drift, and photos at Taka Makassar sandbar before sunset. Day three wraps with sunrise, a Sebayur snorkel session, and return to Labuan Bajo by 09:30. Longer itineraries of 4D3N or custom bespoke voyages through Flores and beyond are available on request.

Booking Process and Policies

Reservations run through Boat Komodo Trip's customer relations team. A 50 percent deposit secures the date, the remaining balance is due 30 days before departure, and full payment is required if booking within the 30-day window. Payment confirmation is sent via WhatsApp to +62 811-3823-875. Cancellations forfeit the deposit at any stage, and cancellations within 30 days forfeit 100 percent. Participants may nominate a replacement guest if they cancel. Force majeure events such as weather, government restrictions, or flight disruption may result in changes or cancellation without refund, consistent with Komodo region standard practice.
