Celestia
Celestia is a 45-meter phinisi yacht operated as a VVIP charter by Boat Komodo Trip, designed for multi-day sailings across Komodo Island and Raja Ampat. The yacht accommodates up to 14 guests in 7 cabins, with air conditioning and running hot water in every room and a full suite of watersports to keep the day busy. It is positioned for groups that want a larger yacht footprint, quiet cabin space, and activity options such as wakeboarding and paddle boarding without needing to charter extra support craft.
About Celestia
Celestia is built as a traditional Indonesian phinisi at a substantial 45-meter length, giving it noticeably more deck real estate and interior volume than mid-size phinisi in the same fleet. The VVIP classification reflects the standard of fitout and service, not just the size of the boat. Celestia operates between Komodo National Park and Raja Ampat, so charter dates typically need to be coordinated around the seasonal cruising calendar. It is well suited to private family groups, honeymoon bookings, and small corporate retreats that value privacy, a higher crew-to-guest ratio, and time in open water without crowding.
Cabins and Onboard Comfort
The yacht has 7 cabins for up to 14 guests, with an Owner's Cabin and a mix of cabin types across the upper and lower decks. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning and running hot water, which matters on multi-day trips when guests cycle through several water activities a day. Shared spaces include a sun-drenched sundeck for lounging, lounge and dining areas for indoor relaxation, and WiFi coverage on board for staying in touch. Daily complimentary treats, plus a free flow of mineral water, tea, and coffee, remove the small friction of asking for basics throughout the trip.
Watersports and Activities
Celestia carries a broad watersports setup that turns the sundeck and swim area into an activity hub rather than just a lounging spot. Guests can use paddle boarding, wakeboarding, water skiing, and kayaking gear, all stocked on board. Top-grade snorkeling gear is provided for reef sessions at sites such as Manta Point, Batu Bolong, Siaba, and Taka Makassar inside Komodo, or the more colorful shallow reefs around Piaynemo and Wayag when cruising in Raja Ampat. Evening programming typically shifts to a BBQ dinner on the top deck, using the open-air dining space to make the most of sunset and stargazing hours.
Routes, Inclusions, and Booking
Celestia sails the main Komodo National Park routes that cover Padar Island, Komodo Island, Pink Beach, Manta Point, Taka Makassar, Kelor, Siaba, Kanawa, Rinca, Kalong, and Manjarite, and can also be chartered for Raja Ampat itineraries across Dafalen, Sauwandarek, Wayag, Piaynemo, and Harfat. Charter pricing starts from a published starting rate and scales with season, itinerary length, and route. Inclusions cover onboard stay, meals, drinking water, coffee, tea, guide, snorkeling gear, life vests, and Labuan Bajo mainland pickup for Komodo itineraries. Excluded items are crew gratuities, flights, personal expenses, alcohol, park fees, and optional drone permits. Booking is confirmed through a deposit and WhatsApp confirmation with the Boat Komodo Trip team.
