El Aleph: 38-Metre VVIP Phinisi with PADI Instructor for Komodo

El Aleph is a 38-metre VVIP phinisi built to turn every day in Komodo National Park into a balanced mix of exploration, water sports, and quiet cabin time. With a 3.4-metre draft, the vessel stays stable in open stretches while remaining nimble enough to manoeuvre through the reef corridors around Padar and Pink Beach. Five ensuite cabins host up to ten guests, and the public areas run from an airy indoor dining saloon to an outdoor dining space framed by ocean views. What sets El Aleph apart from other phinisis in its class is the on-board water-sports fleet and the resident PADI dive instructor, turning the boat into something close to a private beach club that floats.

Hull, Draft, and Vessel Class

El Aleph is classed VVIP and measures 38 metres in length with a draft of 3.4 metres. The depth-to-length ratio gives guests a comfortable ride on longer crossings while retaining enough agility for the reef-lined corners of Komodo National Park. The layout places five cabins below the guest decks, with the indoor dining saloon and outdoor dining space kept separate so meals never compete with gear transfers or dive briefings. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi run throughout the boat, keeping interior climate and connectivity consistent regardless of location.

Five Cabins for Ten Guests

The cabin layout includes the Master Cabin as the main suite, followed by Cabins 1, 2, 3, and 4. Each cabin carries the same standard of ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and generous floor space, so no traveller feels downgraded within the same charter. The configuration works well for two smaller families, a group of friends, or a dive club that needs both privacy and shared common areas. Up to ten guests can sleep comfortably without the cabins feeling shared.

Water Sports Arsenal and PADI Dive Support

El Aleph carries one of the more complete water-sports inventories in its segment. Guests can ride wakeboards, water skis, and a banana boat, or relax on the inflatable towable mattress. Quieter pursuits are covered by paddleboards, kayaks, and complete snorkelling kits. Divers gain access to full scuba gear and a resident PADI instructor who runs briefings and can deliver short courses for those earning certifications mid-trip. Two inflatable tenders keep the remote beaches of Komodo and Rinca within reach without moving the main vessel.

On-board Comfort and Cuisine

The indoor dining area and saloon form the heart of downtime on board, with a layout that stays comfortable even when weather keeps guests inside. Outdoor dining remains the preferred option on calm nights, framed by the silhouette of Padar or the colours of Pink Beach at dusk. For entertainment between activities, El Aleph keeps board games and card games on hand, ensuring an off-screen alternative to the Wi-Fi connection. The galley prepares menus that respond to group preferences, including dietary requests submitted before departure.
