Ciela

Ciela Cruise is a classically styled phinisi operated as a VIP charter by Boat Komodo Trip, sailing the waters of Komodo National Park from Labuan Bajo. The boat accommodates up to 15 guests across 4 cabins and leans into a vintage phinisi silhouette paired with modern onboard systems. It is a practical fit for family vacations, group outings, and romantic getaways where the priority is comfortable open-air space rather than a large cabin count, with expansive sundecks and dining areas that encourage guests to spend time outside.

About Ciela Cruise

Ciela Cruise is a VIP-class phinisi in the Boat Komodo Trip fleet, specifically built around Komodo itineraries rather than cross-region voyages. The classic styling keeps traditional Indonesian shipwright features visible, while interior amenities have been updated for comfort on multi-day trips. The boat is sized for groups that value deck and dining space over a high cabin count, which tends to suit families that are happy to share rooms, friend groups travelling together, or a small wedding party that wants a single chartered boat. Ciela currently operates with Available status at the VIP classification tier.

Cabins and Onboard Layout

Ciela has 4 cabins with total capacity for 15 guests, including named cabin categories such as Padar Room and Seraya Room. Cabin layouts are oriented toward accommodating larger groups per room rather than individual single rooms, which keeps the total guest count high relative to cabin count. The indoor dining room is used for sit-down meals and daily briefings, while additional shared space extends across the main deck and sunshade deck. The Bluetooth sound system is available for guests who want to set the tone during dinner, sunset, or a beach BBQ, and lighting is tuned for relaxed evening use.

Sundeck, Dining, and Activities

Outdoor space is the strongest feature on Ciela. The main deck and sunshade deck give guests two distinct lounging zones, one for direct sun and one for shaded downtime. Free snorkeling gear is stocked on board so guests can drop into reef stops at Manta Point, Taka Makassar, Siaba, and Kanawa without planning extra rental logistics. The Bluetooth sound system and open dining room work well for sing-along moments, family dinners, and small celebrations at sea. Day plans typically balance snorkeling, Padar trekking, and a ranger-guided walk at Komodo Island, plus a sunset view from the deck.
