Ahsana Liveaboard Phinisi Charter

Ahsana Liveaboard is a brand-new 2026 phinisi built specifically for Komodo National Park cruising. At 30 meters with 9 cabins sleeping up to 25 guests, she suits family groups and private charter parties looking for a recently launched vessel with modern navigation and generous deck space.

Vessel and Build

Ahsana Liveaboard is a 2026-built phinisi designed by Indonesian shipbuilders using a newly constructed wooden hull. The 30-meter length and VIP-class layout give families and private groups room to spread out across cabins and decks without crowding shared areas.

The interior pairs contemporary joinery with traditional phinisi lines, and every cabin is fitted with a water heater. Freshwater capacity runs to 8,000 liters, which supports showers, galley needs, and daily cleaning across multi-day itineraries in Komodo waters.

Engines, Navigation and Cruising

Power comes from a Nissan RD8 paired with a Mitsubishi 4-cylinder engine, giving a steady cruising range of 7 to 10 knots for relaxed island-hopping between Padar, Komodo, Manta Point, and Taka Makassar. Onboard electronics include GPS, AIS, HT, and radio for straightforward coastal navigation and communication with port at Labuan Bajo.

This speed profile fits the geography of Komodo National Park well, letting the captain time arrivals at Pink Beach or Kelor Island around light and tides rather than rushing between anchorages.

Decks, Cabins and Onboard Spaces

The upper deck carries a jacuzzi, an outdoor dining area for alfresco meals, a sundeck for sunbathing, and an outdoor chill zone for reading or watching the sunset. Nine cabins include a Master Cabin, Signature Cabin, Deluxe Balcony, Deluxe Cabin, Superior Cabin, Family Ocean, and Family Cabin, giving mixed group compositions several layout options.

Families travelling with children usually book the Family Ocean or Family Cabin, while honeymooners tend toward the Master or Deluxe Balcony. The mix of public spaces means groups can gather for meals or split between deck and lounge without getting in each other's way.

Typical Komodo Itinerary

Standard 3D2N routings pick up guests from Labuan Bajo hotels or the airport, then sail to Kelor Island for trekking and photos, Manjarite for snorkeling, and Kalong Island for sunset and the bat flight. Day two covers Padar at sunrise, Pink Beach, Komodo Island for dragon trekking, Manta Point, and Taka Makassar. Day three closes with a Sebayur Island snorkel before returning to Labuan Bajo.
