Alore

Alore Phinisi moves through the islands like a quiet guest—respectful, steady, and deeply connected to the sea. This isn’t a vessel built for flash, but for purpose: to carry you smoothly across Komodo’s wild waters with comfort, safety, and a sense of authentic Indonesian craftsmanship.

Built for Komodo, Crafted with Care

At 37.49 meters long and 7.15 meters wide, Alore Phinisi offers a stable and roomy platform for extended exploration of Komodo National Park. Her hull and superstructure are built from durable ironwood, bitti wood, and teak—materials chosen for their resilience in tropical waters and their deep roots in Indonesian boatbuilding tradition. Every curve and joint reflects the handwork of skilled artisans, yet modern systems ensure reliability: advanced navigation tools, safety equipment, and efficient engine performance keep you secure across open channels and strong currents.

Designed as a traditional phinisi but updated for contemporary cruising, Alore balances heritage with practicality. She draws minimal draft to access shallow bays, while her reinforced frame handles the park’s dynamic conditions. Whether slicing through morning swells or anchored in a glassy cove, the boat remains steady—making it ideal for photographers, divers, and families alike.

Cabins, Comfort, and Onboard Living

Alore accommodates up to 16 guests across seven well-appointed cabins, each designed for rest and privacy. Air conditioning ensures cool comfort after sun-filled days, while en suite bathrooms with hot and cold showers add a layer of convenience often missing on traditional boats. Electrical sockets are available for charging cameras, phones, and dive gear—essential for digital travelers and underwater photographers.

Common spaces are thoughtfully laid out to encourage both connection and solitude. The indoor dining area and open-air lounge offer flexible seating for meals and conversation, while the upper sun deck provides panoramic views of passing islands and sunsets. A shaded leisure deck serves as a quiet retreat with reading material from the onboard library, and the camera room allows divers and videographers to safely store and maintain sensitive equipment between dives.

Dive-Ready and Adventure-Equipped

For underwater explorers, Alore comes fully prepared. The dedicated dive deck is stocked with scuba tanks, breathing air compressors, and rental gear, supporting both certified divers and beginners on guided snorkel tours. A tender boat enables safe drop-offs and access to tight coves, while paddle boards and a canoe invite silent exploration of mangroves and calm shores.

Daily itineraries blend iconic sites with hidden corners of the park. You’ll trek across Padar Island’s sweeping ridgelines, snorkel alongside manta rays at Manta Point, and wade through the blush-pink sands of Pink Beach. The crew tailors pacing to guest energy levels—whether you want an early summit climb or a slow morning with coffee on deck, the rhythm of life aboard adapts to you.

Best for Divers, Families, and Small Groups

Alore suits travelers who value reliability and comfort without sacrificing authenticity. She’s an excellent choice for certified divers looking for consistent air fills and gear storage, as well as families or small groups seeking private charters with flexible itineraries. The stable hull makes her accessible for guests sensitive to motion, and the presence of both indoor and outdoor spaces means everyone can find their preferred spot—whether it’s shade with a book or front-row sunset seating.

Because she operates in both open-share and private trip formats, Alore welcomes solo travelers joining scheduled departures and larger parties booking exclusive use. With 16-guest capacity, she’s large enough to feel spacious but small enough to maintain a personal atmosphere. If you’re planning a milestone trip—like a diving celebration, family reunion, or low-key honeymoon—Alore provides the right balance of service and simplicity.
