Invictus Voyage Phinisi: Charter in Komodo National Park

Invictus Voyage Phinisi is a purpose-built Indonesian yacht that threads a useful line between comfort and practicality. She is 21.3 metres long with seven cabins for up to 16 guests, powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16 engine that runs her at a steady 6 to 7 knots. The technical spec is strong for the Deluxe category: Garmin GPS navigation, an EPIRB emergency beacon and a generous 6,000-litre fresh-water reserve. She is a good fit for small groups who want intimate encounters with Komodo's marine life without the bulk of a 25-metre hull.

About Invictus Boat

Invictus was built for multi-night voyages through Komodo National Park and the currents around Sumbawa. The 21.3-metre hull strikes a balance most guests only appreciate once they are on board: long enough to feel stable through the Lintah and Gili Lawa currents, short enough to anchor close to smaller bays where a larger Phinisi would need to stay offshore. The Mitsubishi 6D16 engine is a workhorse diesel that prioritises reliability and fuel efficiency over outright speed, which suits the slow-sailing mood of a multi-day Komodo trip.

Onboard Facilities

Life on board is organised around a welcoming dining room, a covered lounge area and a sun deck with the kind of wide views Komodo is famous for. Evenings often include karaoke sessions, a staple of Indonesian charter culture, and there are quieter spaces for guests who prefer to read or plan the next morning's dive. All seven cabins have private bathrooms. The spread of cabin types, from a Master Cabin with sea view to Deluxe, Superior and Sharing cabins, lets mixed groups match budget to expectations.

Safety and Technical Setup

Invictus carries Garmin GPS marine navigation, an EPIRB emergency position-indicating beacon and a full life-vest inventory. The 6,000-litre fresh-water tank is enough to support the full 16-guest capacity across a 4D3N trip without rationing, and onboard oxygen and life rafts are standard. This level of spec is one of the reasons Invictus is a popular pick for small dive-focused groups exploring Komodo's currents, manta points and coral walls.

Charter Pricing

Private charter of Invictus starts from IDR 59,500,000 per night for 3D2N, stepping up to IDR 70,750,000 for 4D3N and higher rates for 7D6N and peak dates. Rates include meals, soft beverages, a guide, snorkeling gear, life vests and transfers within Labuan Bajo. Komodo National Park tickets, drone permits and crew gratuities are invoiced separately. Standard booking terms apply with a 50% deposit to confirm the trip and final payment 30 days before departure.
