La Nissa Phinisi: Traditional Indonesian Luxury Liveaboard

La Nissa belongs to a generation of Phinisis built in the late 2010s when Indonesian yards were refining the luxury-liveaboard template. Launched in 2017, she is 26 metres long with a generous 6-metre beam, built entirely in ironwood and configured for 17 guests across six cabins. The upshot is a boat that feels properly spacious inside, with an indoor restaurant and bar, a chill lounge with lazy chairs and bean bags, and a sundeck that runs the length of the upper deck.

About La Nissa

La Nissa was built in 2017 from ironwood, using traditional Indonesian Phinisi shipbuilding techniques refined for modern charter use. The 6-metre beam is the single statistic that defines how the boat feels below deck: wider corridors, bigger cabins, and enough width in the indoor lounge to actually host the full 17-guest manifest rather than forcing people onto the deck. Her length of 26 metres gives her the stability for longer passages and overnight anchorages in exposed bays, including crossings towards Sumbawa on extended charters.

Cabins and Indoor Spaces

The six cabins include a Private Cabin With Balcony as the headline suite, plus Private Cabins configured for sea view and lower deck positioning. Cabin variety makes La Nissa a flexible booking for mixed groups, where the balcony cabin is the natural choice for the lead couple or the trip host, and the sea-view and lower-deck cabins work well for friends and family travelling with them. Indoor spaces include a dedicated restaurant-and-bar area, a chill zone with lazy chairs and bean bags, full audio and video entertainment, and a covered dining zone.

Sundeck and On-Water Activities

The sundeck runs the full length of the upper deck and is the default daytime gathering point. Guests typically book La Nissa for the full Komodo National Park itinerary: Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong, Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point, Taka Makassar and Sebayur. Snorkeling gear is complimentary and the crew carries enough life vests for the full manifest. The boat is most at home on 3D2N and 4D3N trips, with longer 7D6N and 11D10N itineraries available for groups wanting to extend to Sumbawa or Alor.
