Sanctuary Phinisi Liveaboard Raja Ampat
Sanctuary is a 48-meter VVIP Phinisi yacht built for Raja Ampat liveaboard charters. The vessel carries up to 18 guests across 9 cabins spread over four decks, each with a jacuzzi, dining area, lounge, and a dedicated dive deck for easy access to the region's top sites. It is a strong fit for larger groups chasing privacy, dive logistics, and space without giving up VVIP service.
About Sanctuary
Sanctuary is a 48-meter Phinisi yacht built with traditional Indonesian boatbuilding and fitted out for long-range Raja Ampat itineraries. Its scale gives the boat room for four decks, nine private cabins, and generous open-air space without sacrificing manoeuvrability between archipelago sites. Sanctuary is designed for private groups seeking privacy, elegance, and dive access in a single charter, with a full crew including a private chef, dive guide, and captain. The vessel runs through the biodiverse waters of Raja Ampat, covering viewpoints, villages, and reef systems from the Dampier Strait up to Wayag and Piaynemo.
Onboard Facilities
Sanctuary is built around four expansive decks. A luxurious dining area handles full-crew-served meals for all 18 guests, while a lounge on the main deck functions as an indoor social hub between dives. The upper deck holds a jacuzzi and sun lounging area, which becomes the evening gathering spot after the day's dive debrief. Every cabin is air-conditioned and en-suite, with large windows that frame Raja Ampat's unique karst and lagoon views. A dedicated diving deck gives easy access for kitting up and giant-stride entries, and the crew carries full water sports equipment plus modern navigation systems for safe long-range cruising.
Cabins and Capacity
Sanctuary's 9 cabins are split across Master Cabin, VIP Cabin, Lower Cabin Double, and Lower Cabin Twin categories. Total capacity is 18 guests, giving charter groups room to host multi-family trips, dive clubs, or corporate retreats without splitting across two boats. Each cabin runs its own climate control and en-suite bathroom, so the privacy level matches what VVIP guests expect during weeklong itineraries. The mix of Double and Twin cabins lets groups accommodate couples and single travelers on the same charter.
Raja Ampat Itineraries
Sanctuary works best on multi-day private charters that reach both central and northern Raja Ampat. Typical programs visit Dafalen, Timbul Sand, Sauwandarek, and Harfat in the central zone, then push north for Wayag and Piaynemo. Longer trips can extend to Cendrawasih Bay or Triton Bay and Kaimana depending on season and charter length. The captain and dive guide adjust the route around tides, plankton blooms, and dive conditions, which is essential in an area where currents shift daily and the best sites rotate with the moon phase.
