Fenides Liveaboard Raja Ampat

Fenides is a premium phinisi built for diving, surfing, and leisure cruises across the Indonesian archipelago, with a strong focus on Raja Ampat. The vessel accommodates up to 11 guests across five cabins, combining traditional Sulawesi craftsmanship with equipment levels that satisfy serious underwater photographers and surfers. Boat Komodo Trip lists Fenides among its VVIP fleet for travellers who want intimate capacity, a dedicated climate-controlled camera room, and an upper deck bar that serves proper boat drinks at sunset. The 2026 charter rate starts at USD 10,470 per night, and the package covers airport transfers, full-board service, up to four accompanied dives per day, free Nitrox, surf guiding, satellite internet, and all national marine park fees on full charters. Fenides is positioned as a hardworking expedition platform that remains comfortable enough for families and couples, bridging the gap between boutique charter and dedicated dive vessel. Operations run on a structured payment and cancellation policy set by the owner.

Vessel Profile and Cabin Layout

Fenides runs five cabins configured as one Master Suite, one Upper Cabin, and three Lower Cabins, hosting a maximum of 11 guests. The Master Suite commands the most space on board, with a private bathroom featuring a hot water shower, air conditioning, and panoramic placement that makes it well suited to couples chartering the boat. The Upper Cabin provides a double bed configuration with the same standard of en-suite bathroom and climate control, while the Lower Cabins offer flexible double or twin bed setups that work for divers, photographers, or family members. All cabins sit within the same phinisi hull, so guests benefit from strong cross-ventilation, solid wood finishes, and quiet insulation at anchor. The layout keeps public areas and cabins separate, meaning evening drinks at the upper bar do not disturb early-night sleepers. Fenides suits groups that want a full charter feel without needing a 20-guest vessel, striking a balance between intimacy and operational scale.

Facilities: Camera Room, Bar, and Dive Operations

Fenides was engineered around underwater photography and diving workflow. The climate-controlled camera room gives photographers a dedicated space for rig setup, battery charging, and editing between dives, a feature that elevates the boat above many phinisi competitors. Widescreen-TV equipped lounges and comfy sofas are designed for relaxation, while fine dining is offered al fresco on the deck as standard. The top-deck lounge is built for chill-out sessions, and the sundeck is perfect for catching rays between dives. At sunset or any hour that suits the group, the well stocked onboard bar serves cocktails, beers, and mocktails. Dive operations allow up to four accompanied dives per day, including one dawn or night dive when the site is suitable. Free Nitrox is provided to certified divers on full charter, along with rental snorkel and dive equipment (standard set) for full-charter bookings. Surf sessions are also part of the operation, with up to four guided surf sessions per day on surf charters. Water toys include rental fishing gear, kayak, SUP, and wakeboarding. Satellite internet supports remote-area connectivity.
