Radea Phinisi: VIP Komodo Private Charter

Radea is a 27-metre Indonesian phinisi built in the traditional style and tuned for private Komodo National Park charters. With five cabins sleeping up to twelve guests, a shaded dining area, a front deck for scenic views, and an indoor lounge, the vessel suits families, friends groups, and small events running out of Labuan Bajo. This page details the cabins, the standard 3D2N itinerary, what's included, and how to confirm dates with Boat Komodo Trip.

Vessel Profile and Deck Layout

Radea sails in the VIP category of our Komodo fleet. The 27-metre wooden hull follows South Sulawesi phinisi tradition, paired with modern systems for comfort on multi-day charters. Guests gather in the indoor lounge for cooler afternoons, move to the dining area for fresh meals, and take the sun deck for sunset viewing over Kalong Island. The front deck is the favourite reading and photo spot when the boat is anchored near Padar or Kelor. The vessel is listed as Available for the 2026 season and anchors nightly in sheltered bays, giving guests calm overnight conditions between park visits.

Cabins and Capacity

Radea offers five cabins laid out for twelve guests. The Master Cabin is the largest, suited to couples who want the quietest sleeping quarters. Private Cabin 1 and Private Cabin 2 work well for friends travelling in pairs, while the Family Cabin is set up for parents with children or small groups sharing. Every cabin on Radea has its own finish and bedding plan, so the boat suits mixed groups rather than a single rigid layout. Twelve is the maximum guest count; crew quarters are separate so the vessel stays private for the charter party.
