Mosalaki Cruise Yacht Komodo National Park
Mosalaki is a boutique Phinisi cruise yacht built for Komodo National Park voyages, carrying up to 12 guests across five cabins. The yacht uses a Mitsubishi main engine and runs a navigation suite that includes Garmin GPS, radar, sonar, AIS, VHF radio, Starlink WiFi, and a satellite phone. Fuel capacity is 5,000 litres and freshwater capacity is 8,000 litres, which supports longer routes beyond Labuan Bajo without frequent resupply. Mosalaki is offered in both open/share trip and full private charter formats, making it one of the more flexible VIP options for couples, families, and groups planning a Komodo Island tour.
Cabins and Technical Specifications
Mosalaki has five named cabins: Adonara Room, Larantuka Room, Wae Rebo Room, Lamalera Room, and Kelimutu Room. Total capacity is 12 guests. Each cabin is air-conditioned and designed for privacy and quiet rest between Komodo trekking and snorkel sessions. On the technical side, Mosalaki carries a Mitsubishi main engine, 5,000 litres of fuel, and 8,000 litres of freshwater storage. Connectivity runs on Starlink WiFi with backup via satellite phone, and the navigation stack covers GPS, radar, sonar, and AIS. Safety equipment includes a 12-person life raft, life vests, fire extinguishers, and a first aid kit, matching the standards expected of a VIP Komodo boat charter.
Onboard Facilities and Water Toys
Shared spaces include a sundeck, a restaurant and lounge, karaoke setup, a tender boat, a fridge, bean bags, a TV, and a Bluetooth sound system. For in-water exploration, Mosalaki carries Amscud snorkeling gear, stand-up paddleboards, and water scooters so guests can move through Komodo National Park's reefs at their own pace. Meals are prepared fresh onboard by the crew, and the karaoke plus lounge setup makes Mosalaki comfortable for small celebrations or company outings. The combination of boutique scale and a well-equipped toy box fits families who want their children occupied and groups looking for a single Komodo boat tour that covers both trekking and snorkel days.
Open Trip and Private Charter Options
Mosalaki runs an Open/Share Trip 3D2N Komodo package for guests who prefer to join an existing departure rather than book the full yacht. Per-cabin pricing on this format is: Adonara IDR 24,000,000, Larantuka IDR 20,000,000, Wae Rebo IDR 20,000,000 per person, Lamalera IDR 19,000,000, and Kelimutu IDR 7,000,000 per person. Private charter rates start from IDR 107,000,000 per night in 2026, with a diving-focused charter from IDR 172,000,000 per night. Multi-day private packages cover 2D1N through 6D5N, with and without diving. Mosalaki itineraries visit Padar, Komodo Island for dragon tracking, Pink Beach, Manta Point, Taka Makassar, and Kanawa or Siaba for snorkeling.
Booking, Payment, and Logistics
Bookings are secured with a 50% non-refundable deposit; the balance is due no later than 14 days before departure, or paid in full if the trip is within 14 days. Payment confirmation goes to WhatsApp +62 811-3823-875. Guests fly into Labuan Bajo (LBJ) from Jakarta (CGK), Surabaya (SUB), or Bali (DPS) using direct flights or single-transit connections. Hotel recommendations are provided for the pre-trip overnight. A national park entrance fee of IDR 2,100,000 per day and a few local service fees apply as exclusions, billed at arrival. Participant cancellations are non-refundable, and force majeure events allow trip modification without refund under published terms.
