Blessing Liveaboard Phinisi: A 30-Metre Komodo Charter for Twenty

Blessing is a 30-metre traditional phinisi built for extended Komodo charters, with a 5.5-metre beam and a single Mitsubishi 8DC11 engine that cruises comfortably between 10 and 12 knots. The boat carries 12,000 litres of freshwater and sleeps up to 20 guests across 6 cabins, making it a capable option for larger family groups or multi-family bookings. Open trip berths start at IDR 4,750,000 per person, and private charters begin at IDR 69,300,000 per night for the full vessel.

Boat Specs and Deck Layout

Blessing runs a single Mitsubishi 8DC11 engine and cruises at 10-12 knots, a pace that keeps transit times between Padar, Manta Point, and Taka Makassar predictable. The 5.5-metre beam gives the boat genuine lateral stability, which matters on longer runs through the stretch between Rinca and Komodo where the currents push hard. Freshwater storage comes in at 12,000 litres; for a fully booked charter of 20 guests across a 4D3N trip, that's enough to run private showers without rationing. The cabin mix pairs four Master Cabins on the upper deck with two Family Cabins on the main deck. Two of the Master Cabins carry bathtubs, private balconies, and ocean views, while the other two add balconies and ocean views without the tub. All cabins are air-conditioned with private en-suite bathrooms. Public spaces include a Karaoke and Dining Area, a Serenity Deck with panoramic seating, and a Cozy Dining Lounge with its own minibar.

Open Trip and Private Charter Pricing

The 3D2N open trip aboard Blessing departs every Friday from Labuan Bajo and prices by cabin type. Master Cabins I and II on the upper deck sit at IDR 7,500,000 per person, Master Cabins III and IV at IDR 6,000,000 per person, and the Main Deck Family Cabins at IDR 4,750,000 per person, which is the entry-level berth on the published rate card. Private charters start at IDR 69,300,000 for a 2D1N trip on the base cabin tier, scaling up to IDR 98,500,000 for the premium configuration. A 3D2N private charter ranges from IDR 88,000,000 to IDR 115,400,000 depending on cabin mix, and a 4D3N from IDR 107,700,000 to IDR 133,900,000. A daily surcharge of around IDR 5,800,000 applies for the 4D3N tier's extended routing. Drone filming inside the park is an additional IDR 2,100,000 per unit per day with a seven-day permit lead time.

Itinerary Options from 3D2N to 4D3N

The standard 3D2N open trip loop runs Kelor Island, Manjarite, and Kalong on day one; Padar Island sunrise, Pink Beach, Komodo Island dragon trek, Taka Makassar, and Manta Point on day two; and Sebayur snorkel with a late-morning return to Labuan Bajo on day three. Private trips use the same base route but stretch across 2D1N, 3D2N, or 4D3N formats. The 4D3N adds a fourth day covering Rangko Cave's freshwater pool, Seraya Island, and either Sabolo or Bidadari Island for the return leg. Departure is from Labuan Bajo harbour after a 09:00 hotel or airport pickup on the mainland. Destinations can be adjusted based on weather and field conditions, and force majeure events such as sudden weather shifts or government regulations may alter routing. For guests who prefer the quieter shoulder seasons, April through June and September through November tend to offer calmer seas than the December-February monsoon window.
