Red Whale III: Komodo Speedboat Day Charter

Red Whale III is a speedboat charter sized for small groups and day trips into Komodo National Park. The vessel seats up to seven passengers and runs on twin 200 HP Suzuki outboard engines, which keeps travel time between island stops short. An onboard air conditioner and an international-standard toilet give guests comfortable downtime between Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, and the Manta Point snorkeling zone. This page details the day itinerary, inclusions, and booking steps with Boat Komodo Trip.

Vessel Profile

Red Whale III is classified as a speedboat rather than a liveaboard, meaning there are no overnight cabins on board. The boat accommodates seven passengers plus crew, making it right-sized for families, small friend groups, or couples wanting private island-hopping without booking a full yacht. Propulsion comes from two Suzuki 200 HP outboard engines, which handle the distances between Labuan Bajo and the Komodo park spots in reasonable time. Charter status for 2026 is Available.

Onboard Comfort

Passenger comfort on a speedboat is often limited, but Red Whale III has two standout features. First, an onboard air conditioning unit keeps the cabin area cool during transit, which matters on hot Labuan Bajo afternoons. Second, the boat carries an international-standard toilet, so passengers are not locked into using facilities only at island stops. Together these make Red Whale III workable for mixed-age groups including older travellers and children.
