Siaba Island Destination

Siaba Island is widely nicknamed “Turtle City” for its consistently high population of green and hawksbill turtles resting and feeding on a shallow coral garden. The site is characterised by gentle currents and is recognised as one of the most beginner-friendly dive and snorkel sites in Komodo National Park. For guests joining a curated Komodo yacht charter, Siaba Island is often featured as a relaxed marine stop within a carefully designed island-hopping route, ensuring optimal conditions for snorkeling or diving while maintaining a balanced pace between Komodo’s more dynamic sites.

Siaba Island is located in the central-northern part of Komodo National Park, within the Flores Sea in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The main snorkeling and diving area lies in the sheltered northwest bay of Siaba Besar, which is typically reached from Labuan Bajo by Komodo liveaboard or private yacht in around 2–4 hours, depending on sea conditions.
