Where is Wayag Island?
Wayag Island is located approximately 155,000 hectares in the West Waigeo area of the Raja Ampat islands, northwest of the large island of Papua, Indonesia. The island is famous for its beautiful atolls and incredible underwater life, featuring pristine beaches with unique karst islands that resemble mushrooms sprouting out of the sea.

Getting to Wayag Island
Located deep in the easternmost island of Indonesia, reaching Wayag Island requires a long journey. The first step is to fly to Sorong, the nearest airport of Raja Ampat, and then take a boat transfer to Waisai City on Waigeo Island. From there, you can reach Wayag Island by speedboat or phinisi, departing from Waisai Port.
